How it works

HEIC is the default photo format on iPhones since iOS 11. It saves space but many websites, forms, printers and Windows programs refuse it. JPG is the universal photo format, accepted everywhere. Questions
Is there a file limit?
50 files per batch and 50 MB per file. Large phone photos convert in about a second each.
Why does my file say it is not a HEIC file?
We check the real content of the file, not its name. A photo renamed to .heic is still what it was and should be converted with the matching tool.
Does HEIC conversion work on Android and Windows?
Yes. A small decoder is loaded into the page the first time you convert, so HEIC works in Chrome, Firefox and Edge, not only Safari.
What happens to transparency?
JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white. Convert to PNG instead to keep them.
